10th January 2006 (issue #1)

Taking a very long time starting laptop up PC and logged into the windows, and a message displayed "The application or DLL C:\WINDOWS\System32\VXDIF.DLL is not a valid windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.".

This issue is related to laptop's mouse pad. The mouse pad driver is corrupted. The remedy is to reinstall the mouse pad driver. It's simple as that.

10th January 2006 (Issue #2)

After starting an MSN Messenger and have logged in with personal user account, an error message displayed as "The procedure entry point GetIUMS could not be located in the Dynamic link library MSDART.DLL.".

This issue is related to two main things. One might be due to Windows Media Player being corrupted. Try to reinstall Windows Media Player with the latest version from Microsoft. Try to re-login to MSN Messenger again. If error message displayed again, then the next solution would be to download the MSDART.DLL file from www.dl-files.com and replace the MSDART.DLL in the "c:\windows\system32\" folder with the newly downloaded dll file. The error message should not appear again after logging into MSN Messenger this time.
